The PokerNews Live Reporting Team is in Milwaukee to live report action the $1,700 Main Event, but is just one of a dozen gold ring events at the stop. As such, we thought we’d profile some of the preliminary tournaments and those who struck it big.

Event #11: $400 NLH (One-Day) had 169 runners create a $55,770 prize pool, which was paid out to the top 26 players including Dan Bekavac (10th - $950), Scotter Clark (17th - $702), and Mike Hanson (18th - $702), just to name a few.

In the end, 27-year-old purchasing agent Michael Moncek of Chicago, Illinois came out on top to win $14,297 and his second consecutive gold ring in Potawatomi stops.

“Getting this second ring is amazing and I want to dedicate it to my father who I lost earlier this year,” Moncek said after the win.
