Timm Bets Out Van Sanford
Level 3
: 100/200, 200 ante
Martin Timm raised to 500 from the hijack, and was called by the button and the small blind, before two-time WSOPC ring winner Ryan Van Sanford three-bet to 2,600 from the big blind. Only Timm called.
While Van Sanford was contemplating his action on the flop, a player inadvertently fumbled a 500 chip into the pot, which momentarily confused the table. The player retrieved his chip, and Van Sanford bet 2,100.
"Raise," Timm said before tossing a 5,000 chip into the pot. Van Sanford folded.
"An underbet!" Timm said with a grin when the table teased the player about dropping the 500 chip into the pot, and Van Sanford smirked and said, "I wish I bet 500!"
