David Winrich Eliminated in 8th Place ($12,754)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
David Winrich
David Winrich

David Winrich jammed for 285,000 from middle position, and Alan Percal three-bet shoved for 850,000 in the hijack. John Gallaher immediately called off his last 820,000 in the cutoff, and after everyone else folded, Percal hung his head and said, "Sick!" before the cards were even tabled.

David Winrich: {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}
John Gallaher: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Alan Percal: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Gallaher's kings would hold on a {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board to eliminate New Albany's Winrich in 8th place, and leave Percal with under a single big blind.

Percal Doubles Through Pupillo

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Nick Pupillo raised to 125,000 from middle position, then called a three-bet shove from Alan Percal for 375,000 in the small blind.

Alan Percal: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Nick Pupillo: {j-Spades}{8-Spades}

Pupillo was left looking for running cards after the {k-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{a-Spades} flop brought no help, and Percal locked the double up after the {7-Hearts} turn and {3-Diamonds} river.

Carter Loses a Big One to James

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Kenneth Ware raised to 125,000 from early position, and was called by John Gallaher in middle position, Robert James in the cutoff, and Jesse Carter in the big blind.

Carter led out for 250,000 on the {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop, and only James called.

Both players checked the {6-Spades} turn, and the {2-Spades} fell on the river. Carter bet 400,000, almost half his remaining stack, and James called, and after Carter tabled {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for queens and sevens, James revealed his {k-Spades}{q-Spades} and took down the pot with his superior kicker.

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Nick Pupillo raised to 120,000 from the small blind, and Thomas Alcorn, who was in the midst of a story, looked down at his hand and announced, "All in," before continuing.

"How much is it?" Pupillo said, and the dealer cut out Alcorn's 1.37 million stack. Pupillo tanked for a minute before folding, and Alcorn said, "Nothin' good," before flashing {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}.
