"Sir, I Was Trying to Knock You Out"
Level 21
: 6,000/12,000, 120,000 ante
James Garst came into the day with just eight big blinds and was saying on the break, "I don't know how I'm still in".
He's managed to outlast some of the chip leaders from the start of the day and just found some new life again.
Garst was all in for 124,000 in early position and Dann Turner had plenty of calling chips from the big blind. Garst tabled which was slightly ahead of Turner's . The board ran out and Garst's ace-high held on for the double up.
"I appreciate it," Garst said as he collected the pot.
"Sir, I was trying to knock you out," Turner responded.
