Rodney Seymour

Martin Kozlov jammed from early position. Rodney Seymour re-shipped from the button and the blinds folded.

Kozlov had {q-Spades}{8-Spades} while Seymour had the {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. The flop sent Kozlov into the lead as it came {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. The turn was the {7-Hearts} and the river the {3-Spades} to give Kozlov the big double and leave Seymour desperately short stacked with barely over one big blind and he was eliminated a couple of hands later by Billy Cashwell.

Another Big One for Raleigh

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Picking up the action with the flop reading {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, Forrest Raleigh checked from the small blind. Thomas Alcorn fired out a bet from the cutoff and Raleigh check-raised to 2,000,000. Alcorn called and the {10-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Raleigh announced all in for around 4,000,000, having Alcorn covered at the time. Alcorn quickly threw his cards to the muck and Raleigh showed the {j-Clubs} as he scooped another huge pot.

Ace on the River Gives Raleigh the Chip Lead

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Forrest Raleigh
Forrest Raleigh

From the button Thomas Alcorn raised, Forrest Raleigh moved all in out of the big blind and was called quickly by Alcorn.

It was a huge flip for one of the largest pots of the tournament with Raleigh's tournament at stake.

Forrest Raleigh: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Thomas Alcorn: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The flop came harmless for the queens {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} as did the {5-Diamonds} on the turn but the {a-Spades} hit the river to not only save Raleigh but send him into the chip lead.

Robert Georato Eliminated in 9th Place ($27,822)

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Robert Georato
Robert Georato

Thomas Alcorn min-raised to 320,000 in middle position and Robert Georato shipped all in for 1,295,000 on the button. Billy Cashwell gave it some thought from the small blind but elected to fold. Alcorn confirmed the count and then made the call, stating "Doesn't hurt me if I call".

Thomas Alcorn: {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Robert Georato: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Georato was in a great spot to double up and the flop of {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} didn't give him anything to worry about. Alcorn picked up a straight draw on the {a-Hearts} turn card and the {10-Hearts} hit the river. Alcorn made a straight to eliminate Georato and continue to dominate the final table.
