Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Players are going on their first 15-minute break of the day. The bubble will continue after the break in level 19, which will be 4,000/8,000 with an ante of 1,000.

Steinmann Gets a Shove Through

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Sidney Steinmann moved all in on the bubble when it had folded to him in the small blind. His jam was for about 96,000 and William Rankin took his time to think the decision through. Steinmann ended up taking down the pot after Rankin folded and the start-of-day chip leader is staying alive on the bubble.

Behor and Jansma Eliminated; Hand for Hand

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Yehonatan Behor was eliminated after getting it in with {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} against the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} of Tobias Peters. The board ran out in Peters' favor after {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{10-Diamonds} was dealt.

Jan Jansma was eliminated on another table and there are now 22 players left in the tournament which means we are on the stone cold bubble.

They will continue to play hand for hand until the money is reached.

Sander van Wesemael
Sander van Wesemael

Sander van Wesemael raised from the button to 12,000 and big blind Jer el Salsero called the raise.

The flop was {J-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and El Salsero checked to Van Wesemael who continued with a bet of 16,000. El Salsero called and the {A-Clubs} was added to the board. Van Wesemael peeked at his cards a couple times before making the call.

Sander van Wesemael: {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Jer el Salsero: {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Van Wesemael was eliminated four spots from the money after having a good start to the day.

Huge Double for Cordeille

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Stephane Cordeille is suddenly the chip leader of the tournament after a huge pot that took place between him and start of day chip leader Sidney Steinmann.

The board was already complete with {J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} out there on the board. Cordeille checked to Steinmann who moved all in for effectively 251,000 and about 180,000 in the middle. Cordeille called and they opened up.

Steinmann was holding {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} for missed gutshot straight draw and a missed flushed draw. Cordeille showed {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for trips and took down the huge pot that just took place to become the new chip leader in the tournament.
