Welcome to Day 1b of the €1,650 Main Event
Day 1b of the World Series of Poker International Circuit Rotterdam €1,650 Main Event will be underway at 1 p.m. local time. The tournament is taking place in the newly renovated Holland Casino Rotterdam. Day 1b is the second out of three flights. Day 1c will kick off at 9 p.m. local time.
Marco Rodrigues ended Day 1a of the Main Event with the chip lead. He bagged 128,000 out of his initial 30,000 stack. Other big stacks that made it through to Day 2 include Zeus Post (104,000), Jacco van Hooren (103,500), Govert Metaal (89,900), and Jasper van Moorsel (84,600). The High Roller was won last year by none other than Hakim Zoufri. Zoufri bagged a stack of 65,700 after he registered the Main Event after busting out of the High Roller earlier that day. Farukh Tach (50,100) and James Romero (23,000) also all made it to Day 2 of the Main Event.
Day 1b of the tournament will last eight one-hour levels and starts with a stack of 30,000. The first level of Day 2 will be 400/800 with an ante of 100, which means there is plenty of room to play with a beautifully structured tournament.
PokerNews will be covering the tournament from start to finish.
