Stephen Song opened to 12,000 in middle position and Stanislav Angelov shoved all in for 68,500 on his left. The action folded back to Song who confirmed the count before making the call.

Song turned over {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} but it was Angelov who was ahead with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}. The flop of {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} proved to be safe for Angelov but the {5-Diamonds} on the turn spelled disaster. The {k-Spades} on the river changed nothing and Angelov was eliminated.

"Still running good," Tobias Peters mentioned.

"I've been running good all year," Song responded. "Next year might be different."

But as for now, it was Song's turn to take the spotlight. In the very next hand, Song made it 12,000 to go again and Alejandro Roman shipped all in for around 80,000. Song quickly called and the cards were on their backs again.

Song held {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and was dominating Roman's {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. The board ran out {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Song scored another knockout to take over the chip lead.
