Lynskey Sends Over a Double Up

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Four players headed to the flop with around 10,000 in the middle. The dealer fanned the flop of {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Spades} and the action checked to the cutoff who bet 6,000. Ian Steinman called from the small blind as did Alex Lynskey in the big blind.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and both of the blinds checked again. The cutoff fired out another 13,000 which got Steinman to fold but Lynskey still called. The river was the {2-Clubs} and Lynskey checked for the third time. His opponent shoved all in for 24,400 which sent Lynskey to the tank.

"This is a close one," he said as he played with his calling chips. After a couple of minutes, Lynskey dropped in a call. His opponent tabled {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a set of sixes while Lynskey flashed {k-}{j-} before they hit the muck.
