Stefan Drabert could not catch-up against Ivan Banic, but cashed for a first live result of €25,102!

Hand #11: Drabert was eliminated in eighth place in the very next hand after moving all-in for 650,000 after paying his ante with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} .

Drabert was called by Ivan Banic with {A-Spades}{6-Spades}, and the board of {5-Spades}{10-Spades}{A-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} sent Stefan Drabert home in eighth place for his first ever live result of €25,102 - a superb achievement.

Drabert Down to Short-Stack as Chikita Doubles (full)

Level 30 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #6: A raise and take from Ivan Banic saw the tall Croatian player pile a few more onto his not inconsiderable chipstack.

Hand #7: Ivan Banic reached down to his stack and bet 160,000 from the hijack with {10-Spades}{9-Hearts} and no-one could call.

Hand #8: Chikita bet to 180,000 from the hijack position and he got folds until Stefan Drabert’s {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} in the small blind. Drabert called. The flop of {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} saw Chikita move all-in for 400,000 and get a call from Drabert, who was in bad shape. The turn {10-Diamonds} kept Chikita safe, and so too did the {Q-Hearts}. ‘Chukka Chukka’ exclaimed the novice, who bounced off the canvas for a huge double-up to 1.5 million.

Hand #9: A raise and take from late position.

Hand #10: Kadziela made it 175,000 from early position with unseen cards and chip leader Mihai Croitoru got involved for the first time, raising to 465,000 from the hijack position. That got a fold and the table captain Croitoru has added to his lead.

Hand #11: Kadziela with {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Topic with {K-Clubs}{J-Spades} both went to a flop of {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts} and a bet from Kadziela took it down.

Topic Drops a Few

Hand #1: Stefan Drabert made it 60,000 with {K-Spades}{8-Spades} from the hijack and was raised to 150,000 by Georgios Vrakas on the button with {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Marco Topic alone called in the big blind with {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. The flop of {2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades} saw Topic check to Vrakas, who c-bet 185,000 and took it down.

Hand #2: Marco Topic woke up with {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} in the small blind and made it 160,000. Ivan Banic called with {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and the two men saw a flop of {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{A-Spades}. Both men checked to the turn of {6-Hearts}, where they did the same, but on the {2-Diamonds} river, Banic bet 475,000 and that was enough to scare Topic away.

Hand #3: Banic moved all-in from the small blind with {J-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Yehuda ‘Chikkita’ Cohen folded his big blind of {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. There’s some history there, with Chikkita having survived when extremely short several times in the build-up to the final eight. Can he spin his way back into it?

Hand #4: Topic made it with 130,000 with {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} from the cut-off, but Michal Kadziela called in the big blind with {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. The flop of {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{J-Hearts} gave Marco Topic the nuts, but his c-bet of 130,000 didn’t get a call.

Hand #5: Topic bet to 175,000 with {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} from the hijack and Chikita folded ace-four in the button. Kadziela had {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}, however, and Kadziela three-bet to 355,000 from the small blind. Topic called. The flop of {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{J-Hearts} was better for Topic, but it was Kadziela who led for 345,000. Topic called. The turn of {K-Hearts} was ideal for Kadziela, who checked to his German opponent. Topic checked behind to a {7-Hearts} river. Kadziela value-bet to 525,000, a quarter of Topic’s remaining stack, and he let it go.

Welcome to the WSOP €1,650 Circuit Rozvadov Main Event Final!

Mihai Croitoru has the chip lead, but can he claim the coveted WSOP Circuit ring?
Mihai Croitoru has the chip lead, but can he claim the coveted WSOP Circuit ring?

The final eight players remaining in the WSOP Circuit €1,650 Main Event have returned to action at King's Casino in Rozvadov to play to a winner.

Romania's Mihai Croitoru has the chip lead with 6,925,000 chips, having won a late coinflip with pocket queens to take a slim lead over the other big stack, Ivan Banic. The Croatian has just over six million chips and will be a force to be reckoned with after eliminating Oriol Fernandez late on Day 3 to give himself a great shot at taking home the WSOP Circuit ring and €232,241 top prize.

Croitoru and Banic won't have everything their own way, however, with all eight remaining players desperate to take down the title and improve on the €25,102 they'll be guaranteed for being the next man to exit.

Here's how the players will line up when they return to the tail-end of the 30,000/60,000 blind level, with an ante of 10,000.
