Tehan Shoves Three in a Row

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

After moving all in the two hands prior, and not getting called, Joe Tehan made it three in a row when he was in the hijack. The shove was for 163,000 and Max Steinberg opted to call it from the cutoff. The button and blinds got out of the way and the cards were turned up.

Tehan: {6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Steinberg: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

Tehan was behind and in need of some help. The {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop didn't give him much, but the {Q-Diamonds} turn did as Tehan picked up a flush draw to go with his live cards. Tehan needed either a six, nine or diamond on the river to stay alive, and he managed to find the {6-Clubs} to extend his National Championship life.
