McNabola Grabs a Few from Waaland

Level 27 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

After winning that big all-in versus Paul Snead, Cory Waaland was soon open-raising to 60,000 from the cutoff, and the action folded to John McNabola in the small blind. McNabola then made a small reraise to 110,000, and after studying that for a moment Kevin Saul folded his big blind.

As Waaland contemplated McNabola's action, conversation revealed that he hadn't noticed Waaland's original raise when he made his bet. "Don't let that affect your decision, though," cracked McNabola. "It does a little," confided Waaland.

Finally Waaland reraised to 225,000, and McNabola called without much hesitation. The flop then came {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, and again McNabola acted quickly by declaring he was all in.

Waaland tanked for a short while, then inquired the floor about the possibility of showing his hand before acting. He was told he couldn't without receiving a penalty, and so after a few moments more Waaland mucked. McNabola showed one card — the {10-Diamonds} — and collected the pot.
