Flop Hits Frankenberger, Sends Smith Railward

Andy Frankenberger opened with a raise to 2,500 from under the gun, Danny "Middleboro" Smith called from a seat over, then it folded back around. The flop came and when Frankenberger led with a bet of 2,500, Smith announced he was raising all in and Frankenberger called right away.

Smith tabled for two pair, then caught sight of Frankenberger's hand — !

"Ohhh," said Smith with a wide grin as he saw Frankenberger had flopped the straight. The turn was the and river the , and Smith had been eliminated.

Smith stuck around for a while, though, to chat with Frankenberger about that hand at the start of Level 10 in which Smith had folded bottom set on the flop after a Frankenberger reraise.

"It was a good fold?" asked Smith. "It was an amazing fold," answered Frankenberger, and while we didn't catch details of what exactly Frankenberger had, the pair broke it down for a couple of minutes more before Smith wished the table good luck and departed.
