Dipaoli Shoves the Turn

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

After a player in middle position had min-raised to 1,600 and Greg Raymer called from middle postion, action folded around to Matt Dipaoli in the small blind and he flatted. The big blind came along for the ride and four players took a flop of {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{A-Spades}, which they all checked.

When the {Q-Diamonds} turned, Dipaoli led out for a modest 1,800 and was immediately met by a raise to 5,200 by the player in the big blind. The original raiser and Raymer both folded, and then Dipaoli took a moment before sliding his entire stack in the middle. It was 15,400 more to the big blind, but he thought better of it and sent his cards to the muck.
