Roussakis Going Strong

Erik Roussakis is doing everything he can to get back to a WSOP-C final table. He was down to 290,000 early, but he just collected a bounty to get up to almost 600,000. The unfortunate victim was Sean Riley.

Action started with the player under the gun raising to 18,000. Erik Roussakis three bet it to 40,000, and Sean Riley was next to act. He four bet all in for 176,000. The under the gun player tanked for a couple of minutes before letting his hand go, and Roussakis snap called.

Roussakis: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Riley: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

"Whew I folded queens," said the under the gun player. It was a great fold for him, and Roussakis only strengthened his advantage by flopping a set, {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}. The {7-Diamonds} on the turn sealed it, and just to show off, Roussakis hit quads on the river with the {a-Spades}.

Roussakis is back up to 560,000 after that big hand.
