Chen Moves All In, Again

It's becoming a common theme to see Zhong Chen move all in, and he's done it again.

Preflop, Chen made it 125,000 from under the gun. Varela called from the small blind and Chavaillaz folded his big blind.

The flop fell {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{7-Spades} and Varela checked. Chen decided to put in a bet of 175,000, and Varela quickly called.

The turn was the {3-Spades}. Varela checked once more, and Chen moved all in. Varela folded and Chen moved up to 2,600,000 in chips.

Chavaillaz Value Bets The River

Baptiste Chavaillaz raised to 110,000 on the button, and Jared Ingles came along in the big blind. Ingles checked an {8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop, and Chavaillaz bet 225,000. Ingles tanked for a bit, and Chavaillaz joked "come on let me have this one man we're friends." Ingles laughed a bit, then made the call, and the {7-Hearts} hit the turn. Both players checked, and the river brought the {6-Diamonds}.

Ingles checked a third time, and Chavaillaz put out a small bet of 215,000. Ingles appeared to be confused by the size of the bet, and after a minute or so, he made the call. Chavaillaz showed him {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a rivered straight, and Ingles mucked, saying he had an eight.

After that one, Ingles is back under five million, while Chavaillaz is back up to 3.3 million.

Ingles Wins a Three-Bet Pot

Preflop, Jared Ingles raised to 110,000 on the button. Action folded to Baptiste Chavaillaz in the big blind and he reraised to 260,000. Jared called and the two players headed to the flop.

Flop: {4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Chavaillaz checked, and this prompted Ingles to raise to 160,000. Baptiste called.

Turn: {Q-Hearts}

Action on the turn went check, check.

River: {4-Hearts}

On the river, Chavaillaz checked again. Ingles made a bet of 235,000. After a short time in the tank, Chavaillaz called. Ingles showed {A-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Chavaillaz mucked his hand.

That pot moved Ingles up to 5,685,000 in chips.

Varela Hits The River

Preflop, Varela limped in under the gun. Chavaillaz folded his button and Zhong Chen raised to 100,000 from the small blind. Ingles called in the big, and Varela called also.

The flop fell {2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Chen bet out 250,000. Ingles folded, but Eric called.

On the {2-Diamonds} turn, Chen made a bet of 500,000. Varela tossed chips in his hand and let out a loud sigh. Eventually, he angrily through in a call.

The river was the {A-Spades} and action went check, check. Eric showed {A-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and he was able to scoop the pot. He excitedly stood from the table and clapped his hands together.

Zhong held onto his cards for a few seconds before finally mucking them face down.

Chen Wins Massive Pot On River

Zhong Chen make it 110,000 from under the gun, and Eric Varela made the call from the small blind. Baptiste Chavaillaz raised it up to 275,000 in the big blind, and both of his opponents came along to see a flop.

That flop was {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}, and all three players checked. The {4-Hearts} hit the turn, and Varela checked to Chavaillaz, who bet out 350,000. It didn't take long for both Chen and Varela to call, and the river was the {j-Hearts}.

Varela checked, as did Chavaillaz, and it was on Chen. He announced all in for about two million, and Varela quickly folded. Chavaillaz tanked for a couple of minutes before letting his hand go, and Jared Ingles urged Chen to "show the bluff".

Chen said, "I can't," and tabled {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the rivered nuts. Thanks to that pot, Chen is up to 3.8 million, and is now second in chips.
