Dramatic Chop For Schartner's Life
Level 28
: 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Action folded to Tyler St. Clair who limped from the cutoff. Mark Potovsky followed suit from the button and Andrew Tai pushed out a three-bet to 200,000 from the small blind. Steven Schartner then four-bet all in from the big blind and it folded back to Tai. Tai called and the hands were revealed to be racing:
Tai:
Schartner:
Tai flopped a set on the flop and the rolled off on the turn.
"Good game guys," said Schartner to the table.
He spoke too soon, however, as the hit the river, putting a straight on board and allowing a chop and keeping Schartner's tournament life alive.
