Huang Takes Lead

We witnessed Kevin Huang call the all in of a short stacked player. Huang held {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and was crushing his opponent's {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

The board was of no help to the short stacked player and Huang was awarded the pot. With this win he has vaulted into the chip lead with 1,125,000.

Quads For Biermann

On a flop of {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, we found Andy Nguyen bet an unknown amount. Ryan Biermann came over the top for 55,000 more and Nguyen flat called.

The {5-Spades} rolled off on fourth street and Nguyen shipped all in. Biermann snapped him off with {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for trip nines and Nguyen let out a sigh of frustration and threw his {J-Spades}{J-Hearts} on the felt. The {9-Diamonds} fell on the river, giving Biermann quad nines for good measure. WIth this win he's now sitting on roughly 1,050,000 in chips.

Martin Cracks Aces

Trevor Martin peered down at his cards from under the gun and moved his last 230,000 all in before the flop. Another player at the table woke up with pocket aces and made the call.

Martin rolled over {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} and was in dire need of help. The {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} flop did not help him and neither did the {7-Spades} on fourth street. The river, however, was the {2-Clubs} and as it smacked down on the felt the entire table went into a tizzy. With deuces full of eights, Martin was able to score a double up to about 485,000.
