Clements Fired Up, Indeed
We saw the following tweet from Scott Clements and decided to stroll on over to his table to check out how he was doing. It seems that there couldn't have been a more perfect time to arrive.
A late position player opened to 125 and received a call from the player in the hijack. Scott Clements three-bet to 525 from the button and the blinds as well as the original raiser folded. The hijack called and the two were heads up to see a flop of .
Clements' opponent took initiative with a bet of 1,575. Clements, however, would not be deterred as he decided to make it 5,125 to go. His opponent three-bet all in and Clements wasted no time putting all of his chips in the middle as well.

Clements was looking for a diamond or a ten to make Broadway in order to overcome his opponent's two pair. There was not even a sweat, however, as the struck fourth street and make Clements' diamond flush. His opponent was now looking to make a full house on the river to stay alive in the tournament. He did not find any help with the on the river, though, and was sent to the rail in the first level of the tournament. Clements, however, is now sitting above double starting stack with 41,000.
