Hagan Shoves and Takes It Down

Action folded around to Ryan Biermann on the button who decided to limp. Justin Ciolfitto completed from the small and Mal Hagan checked his option from the big.

The dealer fanned a flop of {5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and there were two checks back to Biermann. He fired 200,000 and Ciolfitto folded. Hagan check-raised all in and Biermann quickly got rid of his hand. Hagan is now sitting on about 2.615 million.

One For Biermann

Level 33 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Sonny Sekhon made it 235,000 from under the gun and was called by Ryan Biermann and Tyler St. Clair from the big blind.

The flop was {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and St. Clair checked. Sekhon continued for 295,000 and Biermann flat called. St. Clair released and the two players saw the {5-Clubs} hit the turn. They both checked and did so again on the {6-Diamonds} river. Biermann showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Sekhon mucked his hand.

First Flop In A While

Ryan Biermann opened with a raise to 280,000 after action folded around to his small blind. Justin Ciolfitto called from the big blind and the flop was {3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Biermann checked and Ciolfitto fired out 350,000.

After much table talk, Biermann finally released his hand and asked Ciolfitto to show. He tabled {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for top pair and top kicker. Ciolfitto is currently sitting right at about 3 million in chips.

Raise and Take

Level 33 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

For the last five hands, the player to raise before the flop has taken down the blinds and antes. With the latest blind increase, play has most certainly tightened up.

Big Chop For Anderson's Life

Level 33 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Calvin Anderson raised to 230,000 from under the gun only to have Sonny Sekhon three-bet to 610,000 from two seats over. Action folded back around to Anderson and he moved all in over the top for 1,700,000. Sekhon called and the hands were tabled:

Sekhon: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Anderson: {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

Sekhon jumped out into the lead when the flop came down {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{A-Clubs} giving him two pair. The {K-Diamonds} turned giving Sekhon four jacks as outs to chop. Fortunately for Anderson the {J-Hearts} rolled off on the river and put Broadway on the board. The two took back their bets and Anderson's tournament life is still alive.

Our First Four-Bet

Action folded around to Sonny Sekhon who moved out a raise to 235,000 from the cutoff. John Crncic folded his button and Ryan Biermann took about sixty seconds before announcing a three-bet from the small blind.

Sekhon was looking at a three-bet to 580,000 and he was now the one to go into the tank. When he came out, his decision was to four-bet to 1.35 million. Biermann released his hand and Sekhon picked up a nice pot without having to see a flop. This has been the first four-bet of this final table.
