Holloway Tries To Make Day 1b Better Than Day 1a
PokerNews' own Chad Holloway had a rough go yesterday, but is right back in action today trying to right the ship. Just recently, he opened to 475 from middle position and found one call from the player in the hijack seat.
The flop came down , and Holloway fired 650. His opponent folded, and Holloway won the pot to move to 29,000 in chips.
Shortly after this, Holloway flopped trip jacks in a hand against an opponent who held an overpair with pocket queens. The money went all in on the flop, but Holloway's opponent backed into a straight and doubled up. Holloway was kicked back to 22,000 in chips.
