Cheung Doubles Opponent

Robert Cheung opened to 600 in early position, a player on his direct left called, and the action folded to a third player on the button, who three-bet to 2,400. Both Cheung and the player on his left called.

The flop fell {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, and the action checked to the three-bettor who quickly fired 6,000. Cheung sat in the tank for the better part of 30 seconds, then grabbed four blue T5,000 chips, raising to 20,000. The player on his left folded her hand ({a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}) face up, much to the dismay of Cheung.

"You can't do that," he told her. "This is a big pot."

The player told him it was an accident, but when the floor arrived she was given a one-hand penalty.

The three-bettor was in the tank the entire time, and finally called all-in for 14,900.

Cheung: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The turn and river came {3-Spades}, {2-Hearts} respectively, and Cheung's opponent doubled.

"Nice hand sir!" the player on Cheung's left said sharply.

Cheung took a big hit, but is still healthy with 15,000 chips.
