Day 3 On the Horizon

Cary Marshall - Chip leader
Cary Marshall - Chip leader

The third and final day of the 2012-13 World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event here at Harvey's Lake Tahoe is set to start in 30 mintes. Cary Marshall is the overnight chip leader with 1.65 million chips, and following right behind him is Derrick Yamada, who bagged 1.585 million.

Marshall cashed in two events at the 2012 WSOP, finishing 15th in Event #43 $1,500 No Limit Hold'em ($29,505), and 13th in Event #48 $3,000 Limit Hold'em ($9,272). His cash in Event #43 is the largest of his career.

Yamada has five-career WSOP cashes, including two this year. The largest cash of his career is $16,781, which he earned for a 32nd-place finish in Event #46 this year.

Jesse Rockowitz has by far the largest previous cash at the final table - he won a massive, 3,097-player $3,000 bracelet event during the 2012 WSOP, earning $721,373 and his first and only WSOP gold bracelet. Rockowitz is third in chips, and flirted with the chip lead throughout Day 2.

The other story to follow is Clint Baskin, who bagged 286,000. Baskin won this event in 2006, when it was a $10,000 event, earning $372,240 and his one and only gold ring. If he were to win today, Baskin would become the first player to win the same circuit Main Event twice.

The cards will be in the air in 30 minutes. We hope you keep it here for all of your up-to-the-minute updates.
