Douglas MacKinnon has been eliminated in 16th place, having lost most of his stack in a big hand versus Terry Grimes, then the rest shortly thereafter to Brandon Fish.

MacKinnon had and the big preflop edge over Grimes who held . But the flop fell to give Grimes a set. The turn was the , meaning MacKinnon would've been behind Deeter's Big Slick, too, if up against him. The dealer then burned one and turned over the river, and MacKinnon was suddenly down to just 25,000.

Overton continues to maintain a second-place stack at the moment among the final 16, and with that hand inches closer to leader Adam Teasdale.
