Winner of Largest-Ever WSOP Circuit Main Event Eliminated

Last season at the 2011-2012 World Series of Poker Circuit Horseshoe Hammond Main Event, Bob Chow played four days of poker and navigated a field of 1,615 players before laying claim to a gold ring and the $393,584 first-place prize. The tournament was the largest in WSOP Circuit Main Event history, creating a $2,349,825 prize pool, which means no player has overcome more competition in a WSOP Circuit than Chow.

This stop won't catch that year's field, but the massive turnout here in Choctaw has already established it as one of the top five stops in history. Unfortunately for Chow, he won't be conquering this field as he was just eliminated.

Chow, who played yesterday and failed to advance, apparently held a straight against an opponent who had flopped a set. The board ended up pairing and Chow's day came to an end just shy of the second break.
