Flop Hits Harder
Level 18
: 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
As Matt Glantz wandered over from the neighboring table, Christian Harder open-raised all in for 63,500 from the cutoff seat. As it folded to the blinds, players at the table joked that Glantz was there to coach Harder.
Glantz pointed out there really wasn't much coaching left to be done, as Harder had already made his last decision of the hand. Then he thought of some advice.
"Don't fold," he said with a grin.
As it happened, the small blind reraised all in to chase the big blind, and Harder was at risk with his versus . But the flop quickly minimized the drama, giving Harder a set, and after the turn and he had earned a needed double-up.
