David Singontiko Eliminated in 4th Place($57,505)

David Singontiko
David Singontiko

David Singontiko started the action by raising to 135,000 on the button. It folded to Leroy Spires in the big blind, who reraised to 360,000. Singontiko put together the call, slid it in, and we were off to a flop.

That flop came {3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, and Spires slid out an even 500,000. Singontiko made the call, and the turn came the {9-Spades}. Spires moved all in fairly quickly, and Singontiko call, also fairly quickly. The cards were flipped, and Singontiko was in rough shape.

Spires: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Singontiko: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Singontiko would need a ten, nine, or eight to keep going in the tournament, but it wasn't meant to be, as the {j-Hearts} hit the river. Spires collected the pot, while Singontiko hit the rail. The future certainly seems bright for this young gun. He is only 21 years old, and already has a WSOP bracelet to his name, in addition to this deep run. He will certainly be a player to keep an eye on for the rest of the year.
