Masek Doubles Through Deeb

Freddy Deeb raised under the gun to 140,000. David Singontiko folded, and it was on Alex Masek on the button. He moved all in for 665,000 on top, and it was on Tong Le. Le tanked for about 90 seconds before letting his hand go, and action went back around to Deeb. Deeb slowly counted out the chips for the call, took a look at what his stack would be if he lost, and slid the chips into the middle. It would turn out to be a great call by Deeb.

Deeb: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Masek: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Despite having a small pocket pair, Deeb had Masek dominated, that is until the flop, which came out {3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{10-Hearts}. For the second time at this final table, Deeb had been outflopped in a huge pot after being way ahead. He would need to catch a two outer to survive, and he wouldn't get it on the turn, the {7-Clubs}. The river gave Masek a scare, but it was safe, the {6-Hearts}. Masek doubled up to 1.6 million, while Deeb is now the short stack with 1.17 million.
