Artin Faroukhians Eliminated in 15th Place($10,510)

Artin Faroukhians
Artin Faroukhians

Artin Faroukhians was crippled earlier in the day when his aces were cracked by David Miscikowski, but he did well to survive to the next page jump. Faroukhians open shoved from under the gun for his last 40,000, and Bryan Yoon, who was next to act, raised it up to an unknown amount. Action folded around to David Miscikowski, who went all in from the button. Next to act was Tong Le in the small blind, and he went all in as well! The big blind folded, as did Yoon, and the three players flipped their cards up.

Faroukhians: {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Miscikowski: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Le: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Miscikowski had both of them covered, but would need alot of help to catch up to Le. The flop came out {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, and it was not looking good for Miscikowski or Faroukhians. The turn brought the {5-Diamonds}, and Faroukhians was drawing dead, while Miscikowski would need a miracle river. He didn't get it, as the {k-Hearts} hit the river. Le yelled out "yes!!" as he scooped the giant pot, upping his stack to around 800,000. Meanwhile, Miscikowski is crippled to 65,000.
