Well, those new chips didn't last long for Chris Deziel. Just a few hands after sending Matt Newcombe on his way, he and Chet Farrell tangled up in a raising war that culminated in Deziel calling a five-bet shove with ace-queen. Farrell had that pipped with ace-king, though, and the board ran out blanks for Deziel's sake.
That's another player sent to the rail, and Farrell is now closing in on the chip lead with his growing stack of about 1.66 million.
