Phillips Earns Benefit of the Doubt

From under the gun Ron McMillen opened to 1,350 and Dennis Phillips re-raised to 3,500 a couple seats behind him. Action folded back around to McMillen and he called after some short thought.

The flop came {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} , McMillen checked and Phillips moved all in. McMillen tanked and was having a hard time coming to a decision. "I should have never just called the 3,500..." he mumbled.

He flashed the {Q-Clubs} and claimed to have another a queen - but never showed it. Phillips quietly dragged the pot, never giving McMillen any assurance.
