Baldwin Binks A Huge Double

While the rest of the tables were standing up waiting for the two table redraw, Eric Baldwin and Chris Cronin were in the middle of a huge pot. We don't know the details of the bet, as we missed the first part of the hand, but here's what we can tell you. The flop read {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, and Baldwin check raised Cronin, who fired back with a three bet. Baldwin shoved for about 150,000 more, and Cronin called it off after crunching the numbers. Cronin said he was in bad shape when he called, but he had no idea he would be this far behind.

Baldwin: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Cronin: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Baldwin was miles ahead of Cronin, who would need runner runner straight to win the pot. The turn brought the {k-Clubs}, and Cronin was drawing dead. The river brought the {6-Hearts}, and Baldwin collected the monster pot, doubling to just under 800,000, while Cronin plummeted to 260,000.
