Wilbur Wins Huge Race Against Riha

While the players at the other two tables were racking up their chips in preparation for the two table redraw, there was a monster hand developing at the last table. Brandon Riha and Nicholas Wilbur got in a raising war preflop that resulted in the players getting it all in for the chip lead. The cards were tabled, and as is often the case, it was a classic coin flip.

Wilbur: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Riha: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Wilbur didn't pair up on the flop, but he did pick up additional outs, as it came out {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}. Riha stayed ahead on the turn, the {3-Hearts}, but for Wilbur, the {a-Spades} on the river truly was the prettiest card in the deck, pairing him up and giving him the win. Wilbur let out a loud "yes!" and for good reason, as he is now the chip leader with two tables left.
