Fielder = Chip Leader

We came to Jeff Fielder's table as he was in the middle of a big pot heads up. The board had gotten to the turn, reading {4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades}{j-Hearts}, and there was already 45,000 in the pot. Fielder checked to his opponent, who fired out 18,000. Fielder thought for about 15 seconds before shoving all in over the top. His opponent thought for just a few moments before open folding {8-}{8-}. Fielder flashed the {10-Diamonds} as he raked in the pot, which pushed him over 300,000. By our estimation, that makes him the chip leader. However, it should be noted that the only other player that we have at 300,000, Mark Kroon, is sitting across the table from him. Those two could certainly provide a few big pots before the night is over.
