Massey Flops The Nuts And Gets Paid

We caught the action on a {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop contested between Thang Nguyen, in the small blind position, and Aaron Massey in the cutoff position.

Nguyen checked to Massey and he bet 38,000. After some thought, Nguyen announced that he was all in. Massey immediately called and tabled his hand, {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Nguyen flipped over {j-Hearts}{10-Spades} and was in a lot of trouble. The turn and river were the {7-Clubs} and {7-Spades} which doubled Massey up.

Nguyen was crippled, but did earn some back the next hand when he pushed and stole the antes and blinds. Massey, on the other hand, is the first player to cross the one million chip mark.
