Crain Battles Kroon for Big Pot
Action folded to Eric Crain on the button and he put in a raise to 30,000. "I had a rule that I wasn't going to do this to you," Mark "P0ker H0" Kroon said from the small blind as he three-bet to 84,000. "I'm breaking my rule." Crain ended up making the call and it was heads up to the flop, which saw Kroon fire out 112,000.
Crain asked for a count, and then casually announced that he was all in. Kroon, who had approximately 700,000 back, shot back in his chair and said, "Oh man, I don't think I can fold. I sure would like to." He then began counting down his stack as he threw in casual observations.
"There's zero chance I don't have the best hand."
"Honestly, if I fold this hand, I should just quit poker."
After another 90 seconds or so, Kroon tossed his cards to the muck. "Please don't show me," he added with all sincerity. Crain didn't show him, but did say he had . Kroon slowly nodded his head up and down and admitted that he held as well.
"The better player won," Kroon concluded.
