Day 2 Complete with Tran Leading the Way
Day 2 has come to a close and just 18 players remain. Leading the way is Kwinsee Tran with 269,100 in chips. He's got plenty of firepower behind him including Dwyte Pilgrim (236,500), Ali Eslami (227,500) and Tim West (216,900).
Even despite being down to just two tables in the field, the players have yet to reach to the money. The final 12 players will be paid a minimum of $19,653, but they'll all be gunning for the top prize of $282,242. Other than those aforementioned players, Daniel Negreanu, Todd Terry, Kyle Bowker and Steve Brecher are all still in contention and we'll see them back on the felt tomorrow. The tournament short stack will be Jesse Martin with 18,500 in chips and he'll be looking to run it up tomorrow. Joining him as the only other player below 100,000 in chips is Alejandro Garcia.
