He checked the turn, and Pilgrim checked it back, and the landed on the river. Dao decided another bet was in order, and he made the price 18,800 to see his hand. Pilgrim sat still for about ten seconds, asked for the amount, and instantly called.
"I missed my flush," Dao lamented as he showed his . Pilgrim tabled to win the pot, and Todd Terry complimented him on the nice call.
Without missing a beat, Pilgrim answered, "Thank you sir. I play poker for a living."
Pilgrim is playing like it's his job over there, working his stack up to about 185,000 and into the mix of the chip leaders.
