Casetta Finds Value with Second Pair

Dan Casetta took another moderate pot off of Andrew Lichtenberger, this time at showdown. Lichtenberger opened for 50,000 pre-flop, with Casetta calling. Casetta checked and then called another 60,000 on a jack-high flop, {J-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}.

When the turn came {7-Clubs}, Casetta opted to lead into Lichtenberger for 110,000. Lichtenberger called after about 20 seconds. There was no further action in the hand, with both players checking a blank {3-Hearts} river. Casetta turned up {9-Spades} {4-Spades} for a pair of nines. It was the winner.
