"Floor!" was the call after Fernando Jacobo had mistakenly turned up his hand preflop following some confusion. With players left to act behind him, Jacobo was forced to play the hand face-up according to the ruling. Aaron Kanter, the other contestant in the hand, remarked, "This should be easy to play." The flop came and Jacobo led out with 2,400, only to be called. The turn came and was checked over to Kanter. Kanter wasted little time putting his remaining 3,500 at risk. After deliberating through all the hands that could beat his revealed queens, Jacabo called and saw the of Kanter had in fact gone ahead of his queens. The river improved Kanter's already winning hand.
Kanter has about 15,500 after the strange debacle, while Jacobo was left with only 10,300. Adding insult to injury Jacobo was assessed a one-round penalty for his mistake!
