A large contingent of locals entered today's event -- many of them sporting New Orleans Hornets jerseys in support of their hometown basketball team, which is currently playing in its own championship event of sorts.

After the dinner break, the AV crew here at Harrah's changed the channels on the two largest television monitors in the room, removing the tournament clock's feed and replacing it with the game.

Psh...Who cares about a $5,000 buy-in poker tournament when Game 7 is on?!
