Pedro Cavalieri took down the WPT500 for $153,504 after a heads-up deal with Austria's Thomas Hueber.
The Brazilian came into the final table as the chip leader, and battled it out to come out on top of a field of 2,295 players.
The tournament came with a $1m guarantee, which was surpassed generating a prize pool of $1,147,500. Cavalieri walked away with the a huge chunk of it for a new career-best cash.
