At noon local time, the survivors from Day 1a and Day 1b will join together to resume their quest to win the 2018 WPTDeepStacks Marrakech 13,200 MAD Main Event. 147 out of 431 entries have made their way through twelve 40-minute Day 1 levels, and will now face prolonged 60-minute levels until the end of the tournament.

On tap today will be eleven 60-minute levels or when 16 players are reached, whichever happens first. The prize pool has been finalized at MAD 4,949,600, with exactly 1,000,000 Moroccan Dirhams in value (appr. $105,000) laid aside for the winner on Sunday night, which includes a MAD 22,000 package for the season-ending WPTDeepStacks event. 55 players in total will finish in the money, with a minimum cash of MAD 26,000 (appr. $2,750) awarded.

Leading the way is Kamel Atoui of France, who showed some solid poker prowess on Day 1b to collect 334,000 in chips. Atoui is followed by Oscar (232,500) and Day 1a chipleader Yves Rolland (212,000).
