Pecheur Doesn't Fall for Zalagh's Antics
Level 8
: 300/600, 600 ante
With the board completed at , David Pecheur checked to Youcef Zalagh, who had 34,500 in front of him. He picked all but four T-5,000 chips up and put them with a loud thump in the middle.
While Pecheur was thinking, Zalagh shifted around in his seat and bounced up and down, constantly readjusting himself. Pecheur tried to figure out whether Zalagh was deliberately overacting or genuinely nervous and eventually settled on a call.
Zalagh showed for a whiffed flush draw, Pecheur showed and won the hand.
