Boatman Finds Lucky Triple in the First Hand
Level 12
: 800/1,600, 200 ante
Severely short stacked, Barny Boatman found himself in the big blind in the first hand of the day. The small blind hadn't arrived yet, so there was some dead money in the pot already.
From early position, Pierre Antoine Quignard raised to 3,200. His neighbor Zakaria called and action folded to Boatman. He pushed for 11,300 and both Quignard and Zakaria called.
The flop came and Quignard bet 10,500. Zakaria folded.
Barny Boatman:
Pierre Antoine Quignard:
The on the turn and on the river were blanks and Boatman tripled!
I'd rather be lucky than good. Mind you, I haven't tried being good, so I wouldn't really know.
