Watson Slows Down

Mike Watson was the first in the pot when he raised to 1,800 from middle position. Sam Phillips called from the button, as did the player in the big blind.

The flop came and the first player to act checked. Watson continued his aggression with a bet of 2,500 and only Phillips called.

The dealer slid out on the turn and both players checked. The river was the and Watson took several moments before checking, and Phillips had a bit of thought as well before checking behind.
