O'Brien Makes A Difficult Fold
In poker the chips you save by folding are extremely valuable but nobody likes folding do they?
Ilan Boujenah opened to 4,000 from middle position and after one player folded Jusso Leppanen three-bet to 10,000. Dan O'Brien then called in the big blind and Boujenah then made up the difference.
A trio of checks greeted the flop but when the fell on the turn O'Brien lead out for 14,000. Boujenah almost instantly moved all in for 113,000 in total. Leppanen snap-folded but O'Brien was left with a decision for his tournament life.
It took almost two minutes for O'Brien, who looked agonized by his decision, to fold and he admitted halfway through his thinking time that he had miscounted his stack preflop and was now in a tough spot.
He did however fold and is still in with a shot. Boujenah mucked his hand so we will never know what he had.
