Jorgensen Makes Another Full House

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Theo Jorgensen
Theo Jorgensen

Philipp Gruissem limped in from the small blind holding {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Theo Jorgensen checked with {q-Spades}{4-Hearts}, and the flop fell {8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Gruissem led out, Jorgensen called, and the turn was the {4-Diamonds}. Gruissem led again, Jorgensen called, and the {q-Clubs} completed the board.

Gruissem fired a third bullet worth 375,000 (into a pot of around 400,000), and Jorgensen went into the tank. After a few seconds, Jorgensen raised to 1 million, and Gruissem reached for a handful of plaques. The German sat quietly, plaques in hand, then pump-faked them into the pot. He then began tapping them on the rail and smiling.

Finally, Gruissem thought better of it and folded his hand.

Jorgensen Turns a Full House

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

All three players saw a flop of {6-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Theo Jorgensen flopped top two pair with {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and led out for 90,000. Matt Salsberg called with an unknown hand, and Philipp Gruissem called as well with {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}.

The turn was another queen, giving Jorgensen a full house, and he led again. Both players released, and Jorgensen took down the pot.

Salsberg Calls Jorgensen Down

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Matt Salsberg opened to 80,000 on the button with {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}, Theo Jorgensen defended his big blind with {5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, and the flop fell {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{7-Spades}. Jorgensen checked, Salsberg continued for 80,000, and Jorgensen check-raised to 105,000. Salsberg instantly called.

The turn was the {7-Clubs}, Jorgensen led for 250,000, and Salsberg immediately called again.

The {8-Diamonds} completed the board, and Jorgensen gave up, checking to Salsberg who instantly checked behind.

Salsberg picked up the pot.

Adams Gets Tricky

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Timothy Adams limped in from the small blind with {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, Matt Salsberg checked with {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, and both players checked when the flop fell {10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}. The turn was the {8-Hearts}, and Adams check-called a 70,000-chip bet from Salsberg. The river was the {4-Hearts}, Adams checked again, and Salsberg checked behind.

Adams unhappily showed his flush, and raked in the pot.

Gruissem Wins With a Delayed C-Bet

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Matt Salsberg was first to act, and he opened to 85,000 with {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Philipp Gruissem three-bet to 200,000 on his direct left, and again didn't show his hole cards to the camera. The action folded back to Salsberg, who called.

The flop fell {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Spades}, and both players checked. The turn was the {2-Hearts}, and Salsberg checked again. Gruissem tossed out a bet, and took down the pot.
