Snakes and Ladders for Lacay
In the last 15 minutes of the 100/200 level, Ludovic Lacay became involved in a threeway pot which grew to 10k by the river on a board of ... ... . On the river, Bingjian Ren bet out two 5k chips (representing over half his remaining stack and putting the pressure on Lacay and Alban Messe). Both players took their time over this one, but while Messe folded, Lacay counted down his 18k or so and then made the call. Ren showed the nuts - - and Lacay is back to square one, having more than doubled his early-dented stack (he was down to just over 7k at one point) over the last two hours' play. That was a slow ladder and a quick snake.
