Gomes Finally Wins a Hefty Pot
Alex Gomes is up to nearly 40,000 after collecting a nice pot.

turn card fell, Gomes again called a bet from his opponent, this time 2,400. The 
hit the river and Gomes' opponent bet 3,500. Gomes calmly raised to 11,000 and his opponent did not appear thrilled while tossing in the chips to call.
Gomes tabled 
for the nuts and has finally gained some traction in the Main Event.
